That depends on whether the legislation proposed fulfills any of the only 3 things that our Government is supposed to do for us. 1) Provide Peace 2) Provide Order 3) Provide Prosperity If a Bill for legislation does not Productively provide for one of these 3 things than the Bill is not actually a Good Bill as it would actually hender our Citizens from taking Responsibility for their own Life.  At the same time this does not mean that a bill couldn't provide for its citizen's peace, order, or Prosperity while not actually being a Good piece of Legislation.  We all know that the Government unfornately knows how to do that all too much.	The first bill for legislation would be a bill that would mandate that every school district in the state of Missouri, teach both the evolution theory and the intelligent design theory. Thereby teaching both sides of the science creation issue. After all, teaching both sides of the issue and truly educating our children is what learning, which we call education, is all about. Also one thing to note is how the intelligent design theory only states that the complexity of life is so great that there has to be a higher power of some type. It does not specify who or what would be that higher power while some skeptics say that it's just christianity in disguise. In fact there are some in the chistian creation community that won't stand behind the intelligent design movement, because it doesn't go far enough for them. Beyond that, many experts for this theory are not christians themselves. It obviously doesn't hold any conspiracy toward christianity for them. They just know there is something besides us (humans and animals) out here. One other note is that Benjamin Rush, signer of the Constitution, insisted that we have a public education system, because some might not know the gospel of Christ. That's right folks, our public education system orginated to first and foremost teach the Bible. From 1690 to 1900, one main way we did that was to have first graders when they first came into school learn a book called, the New England Primer, which taught things such as the short catechism, a biblical rhyming alphabet, and other biblical notions. Also, when a state entered the union, after the orginal 13 colonies, a state had to agree to state in its state constitution it would forever in it's schools teach above all else reglion, moriality as well as knowledge in their public education school system. This was to be in agreement with the NorthWest Ordinance, which is one of the 4 organic laws: the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, the Declaration of Association, and the NorthWest Ordinance. Secondly, a bill that would mandate that no bill shall die just because it didn¡¦t come up for a vote before the main body of the legislature because of limitations of time. This bill would demand that each bill introduced to the Missouri General Assembly exhaust the process due a bill until it has either died by a vote or passed the legislature. This would enable many good bills to be finally truly agreed to and passed. Thirdly, a constitutional amendment that extends the yearly life of the legislative session to the end of August and reschedules the work week for the legislators to be Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Currently the legislature is in session from January to the middle of May with the work week starting on Monday at 4 o¡¦clock in the afternoon and going through Thursday with each day ending at 6 p.m. This is what is currently mandated by the Missouri state constitution and does not give the legislators enough time to effectively go through all the bills that are introduced before them each year. The legislature meets each year for approximately just 70 days, while getting paid approximately 30 grand for their work. If you ask me this really should be a year long job as the legislature has no small task in setting policy for the roughly 6 million people that live in the state of Missouri. You deserve more from your state legislature.
